On June the 11th and 12th the Jackson-Murray-Henley Action Group (JMH Action Group) conducted a planting weekend which was stage 2 of a community revegetation project. More than 1700 tubestock were planted. The JMP Action Group’s aim is to develop and maintain a uniquely peaceful area where residents of all ages can exercise and interact with nature.
The JMH Action Group have been granted State Government funds to revegetate part of the Como Secondary College campus to support the area’s population of Carnaby’s Black Cockatoo. For more information contact www.jmhactiongroup.yolasite.com
